thanks for the info BigT. the good news is, he was in a rental car(Hertz, Enterprise), which means he HAD to have insurance. I checked out the car this morning and the damage is focused mostly on the license plate and surrounding fiberglass. Luckily there's no gap between the lights and bumper(phew) the exhaust however looks bent and the right wheel seems to have developed some additional toe-in. It pulls lightly to the right now :( . Im praying they dont total it out but if thats what happens what does that entail? am i payed the value of the car? do they say "sorry" and show me the door?
